The Minister of Interior, Decentralization and Local Development, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, this Friday morning at the National Police School in the Wilaya of Nouakchott West, honored a number of administrators and employees in the ministry, officers, non-commissioned officers, and agents in the sectors of the National Guard, National Police, and the General Delegation for Civil Security and Crisis Management on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of National Independence.
The ceremony held on this occasion was distinguished by the presence of the Director General of National Security, Lieutenant General Mohamed Cheikh Mohamed Lemine Ele-Mine, with the raising of the national flag and a display of formations from the National Guard, National Police, and the General Delegation for Civil Security and Crisis Management, which received a salute of honor before the Minister greeted several leaders of offices and directorates led by the National Guard’s General Staff, the General Directorate of National Security, the General Delegation for Civil Security and Crisis Management, and central officials from the Ministry of Interior and Decentralization and Local Development.
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior and Decentralization and Local Development, Mr. Abdel Rahman Ould Al-Hassan, the Chief of Staff of the National Guard, General Mohamed Ould Lehreitani, the General Delegate for Civil Security and Crisis Management, General Abou Al-Maali Al Hadi Sidi Ould Amar, the Director General of the National Agency for Population Registration and Secure Documents, Mr. Sidi Ali Ould Teyeb, the Governor of Nouakchott West, and several central officials from the Ministry of Interior and Decentralization and Local Development attended the ceremony.
