Minister of Economy oversees Signing of Partnership Agreement Between Arab Investment Authority and GG International

On Thursday in Nouakchott, Minister of Economy and Finance, Sid Ahmed Ould Bouh, supervised the signing of a partnership agreement between the Agricultural Investment and Development Authority (AAIDA) and GG Group, an international group specialized in the agricultural field, to expand AIDA’s investment activities in Mauritania
The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, and Mr. Rajesh S. Jain, General Manager of GG Group.
This agreement comes within the framework of implementing an ambitious agricultural implementation project in Mauritania in partnership between the Arab Company for Agricultural Services in Mauritania, which is owned by the Authority, and GG Group.
The project aims to produce, preserve, cool and distribute vegetables, in addition to wheat production
The investment cost of the project is expected to reach about fifty million dollars
