Fisheries Minister holds Talks with his Senegalese Counterpart

The Minister of Fisheries, Maritime and Ports Infrastructure, Mr. El Vadil OULD SIDATTY ould   Ahmed Louly, held talks on Monday in Nouakchott with the Minister of Fisheries, Maritime Infrastructure and Ports, Mrs. Fatou Diouf, who is currently visiting Mauritania as part of the ministerial delegation accompanying the Senegalese Prime Minister.

The talks dealt with cooperation between Mauritania and Senegal in the field of fishing and maritime infrastructure, especially that Mauritania and Senegal have been linked by a fishing agreement since 2001, whose application protocols have been renewed. The agreement allows Senegalese fishermen to fish in Mauritanian waters.
