The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget, Mr. Kodioro Moussa N’Guenore, participated on Monday in the work of the Third Japan-Africa Public-Private Economic Forum organized this year in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire under the slogan “Collaboration, co-innovation and creativity with Africa to develop our future”.
The forum brought together a large delegation of members of the Japanese government, about thirty ministers from African countries, as well as participants from international and regional institutions from the public and private sectors.
At the special session of African ministers, Minister presented Mauritania’s vision for the business environment, our country’s strategic role as a gateway to Africa, and the importance of deepening cooperation between Japan and African countries.
During his meeting with the Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister, Minister reviewed Mauritania’s strategy and efforts to stimulate investment and strengthen the private sector, highlighting the ongoing economic reforms and investment opportunities provided by the country, which is known for its diversity and abundance of natural resources, in addition to the great incentives available to investors.
During the meeting, HE the Minister highlighted more investment and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of processing fish products.
