Minister Delegate to the Minister of Interior meets a Delegation from the United Nations Development Program

The Minister of Economy and Finance Sid Ahmed Ould Bouh returned Wednesday to Nouakchott from Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco, after participating in the African Financial Summit (AFIS-2024).

This year’s summit addressed five key priority themes to promote the necessary economic transformations: the creation of banking products and capital market solutions to channel domestic resources towards productive investments to stimulate growth and development, facilitate the interoperability of performance systems, reduce the cost and time of cross-border transactions, allow the development of intra-African trade, strengthen capital requirements for financial institutions, promote industry and encourage partnerships with international financial centers.
