Senegalese President Returns Home from AU Continental Conference on Education in Nouakchott

On 10 December, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the President of the Republic of Senegal, left Nouakchott after taking part in the African Union’s Continental Conference on Education, Youth, and Employability, organized in Nouakchott from 9 to 11 December 2024.

Upon his departure, the Senegalese President was greeted by Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Ould Diay, the Minister in Charge of the General Secretariat of the Government, the Ministers of Justice, Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, Mauritanians Abroad, Defense, Retirees, and Children of Martyrs, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet, the Wali of Nouakchott West, and the Vice President of the Nouakchott Region, as well as the Senegalese Ambassador to Mauritania.

Members of the Senegalese diplomatic mission in Mauritania also bid a farewell to the President of the Republic of Senegal.
