Algerian President leaves Nouakchott after Participating in AU Continental Conference on Education

HE Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, left the capital Nouakchott on Tuesday, after participating in the African Union Continental Conference on Education, Youth and Rehabilitation for Employment, hosted by Nouakchott from December 9 to 11, 2024.

HE the Algerian President was welcomed at the Nouakchott International Airport by Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay, the Minister in charge of the General Secretariat of the Government, the Ministers of Justice, Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, Mauritanians Abroad, Defense, Pensioners Affairs and Children of Martyrs, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ambassadors of the two countries, the Governor of Nouakchott West and the Vice President of the Nouakchott Region.

H.E. Abdelmadjid Tebboune arrived yesterday evening in Nouakchott, where he was received at Nouakchott International Airport by H.E. President of the Republic and President of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and held a private meeting with him at the airport’s Hall of Honor.
