President of Republic Arrives in Rosso

The President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived on Monday morning in the city of Rosso as part of an inspection visit to the state of Trarza.

During this visit, he will oversee the launch of development projects in commemoration of the 64th anniversary of National Independence Day.

The people of Rosso gave H.E. the President a grand reception, lining the road between the airport and the city with enlarged pictures of the President, welcoming slogans, and banners praising the achievements made at the national level in general and in Trarza in particular.

The reception featured folkloric dances, expressing the people’s joy and delight at the President’s visit to the state.
