HE President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazzouani, met on Monday, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
The meeting dealt with means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, working to develop them in various fields and intensifying coordination, in addition to discussing current developments at the regional and international levels.
In addition to HE the President of the Republic, the meeting was attended by Nani Ould Achrouga, Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic, Sid Ahmed Ould Abouh, Minister of Economy and Finance, Abdoulaye Idrissa Wan, Ambassador of our country in Brasilia, and Eltah Ould Ahmed Mouloud, Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, in addition to HE the President of the Republic.
H.E. the President of the Republic delivered an important speech to the participants of the G20 Summit, whose agenda includes the energy transition, improving the functioning of multilateral international institutions and equitable sustainable development (with a focus on the fight against poverty, hunger and inequality.
