On 18 November, in Rio De Janeiro (Brazil), His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and chairman of the African Union (AU), took part in the G20 Summit, where he delivered an important speech to the participants.
The summit’s agenda, organized under the theme: “For a Just World and a Sustainable Planet”, is dominated by three main themes: energy transition, improving the functioning of international multilateral institutions, and equitable sustainable development (with a focus on the fight against poverty, hunger, and inequality.
The summit will officially announce two orientations: a global alliance against poverty and hunger and a global mobilization against climate change.
