Minister of Social Labor participates in the Opening of the International Year of the Family Conference in Doha

Doha, 31 October 2024, the Minister of Social Action, Childhood and Family, Mrs. Savia Mint N’Tehah, participated in the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) conference, which kicked off on Wednesday at the Qatar National Convention Center in Doha, under the theme: “The Family and Contemporary Megatrends.” The conference is organized to mark the 30th anniversary of the International Year of the Family (IYF).

The conferences is organized to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the International Year of the Family. It provides a platform for policymakers, academics, civil society leaders and youth to discuss the impact of contemporary megatrends on the family.

Participants in the two-day conference will address topics such as demographic change, technological change, climate change, migration and urbanization.
