Water Minister returns to Nouakchott from Slovenia

The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mrs. Amal Mint Mouloud, arrived Sunday evening in the capital Nouakchott from Ljubljana (Slovenia).
She chaired the second high-level ministerial meeting of water ministers of the countries of the Regional Cooperation Initiative for the Integrated Management of Groundwater Resources in the Mauritanian-Senegalese Sedimentary Basin.
The Minister also participated in the tenth session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Water Resources and Shared Inter-State Lakes.
On the sidelines of these meetings, the Minister held important meetings with a number of representatives of international bodies working in the fields of intervention of the sector.
