The National Authority of Notaries participates in the 33rd Conference of the African Union of Notaries in Marrakech

The 33rd Congress of the African Union of Notaries (AUN), under the theme “Electronic Notarization”, opened on Wednesday in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco.
The National Authority of Notaries participated in this conference with a high-level delegation headed by Mr. Mohamed Abdallah Ould Assouilhem, and composed of the former President of the Authority, Mr. Ahmadi Ould Hamadi, the Secretary General of the Authority, Mr. Athié Sow, the Executive Secretary in charge of Finance, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Kowri, the Special Principal Advisor to the President of the Authority, Mr. Mohamed Ould Hawaya, and the Assistant Jenka Ba.
The African Union for Documentation has dedicated this conference to discuss ways and mechanisms to develop the notary profession in the continent, and to make the most of modern technology to ensure transparency and almost access to service.
It is worth noting the tireless endeavors made by the National Authority for Notaries to actively participate in regional and international conferences to exchange expertise, information and experiences in an effort to develop joint cooperation with various documentation bodies in the subregion, continental and international.
It is expected that a set of cooperation protocols will be signed between the National Documentation Authority in Mauritania and its counterpart in the Kingdom of Morocco and some other African countries in the fields of training, supervision and related topics.
