Minister of Culture Meets With Algerian Counterpart

On 18 October, in Algiers, Mr. El Houssein Ould Medou, the Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, met with his Algerian counterpart, Ms. Soraya Mouloudji, the Minister of Culture and Arts.

The two sides reviewed the distinguished relations between the two countries, which reflect the determination of the leaders of both countries, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, and Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the Republic of Algeria, to promote these distinguished relations.

The two sides exchanged views and discussed means of cooperation in various cultural fields, such as the protection and preservation of heritage monuments, and management of cultural parks and archaeological research at Mauritanian heritage sites.

The two parties also examined ways of organizing and improving the social status of artists in the two sisterly countries.
