Prime Minister Receives Chinese Ambassador to Mauritania

On 18 October, in Nouakchott, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Diay, received HE Mr. Li Bijun, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mauritania.

The talks focused on ways of strengthening and developing the long-standing friendship, constructive cooperation, and fruitful partnership between the two countries, which were elevated to the rank of strategic relations by HE Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, and the Chinese President, HE  Mr. Xi Jinping, during their meeting on the sidelines of the last Africa-China Summit.
