Human Rights Commissioner Receives UN System Resident Coordinator

On 9 October, in Nouakchott, Mr. Sid Ahmed Bennane, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, received Ms. Leila Peters Yahya, the resident coordinator of the United Nations system in Mauritania.

The talks focused on areas of cooperation between Mauritania and the United Nations and ways of strengthening and developing it, particularly in the areas of responsibility of the Commissioner’s Office.
