Economy Minister holds Talks with German-French Finance Group Director ODDO

The Minister of Economy and Finance Sid’ Ahmed Ould Bouh held talks on Monday in Hamburg, Germany, with representatives of the German-French banking group ODDO BHF, with the participation of Mr. Florian Witte, Director of International Banking and Corporate Services at ODDO BHF.

The meeting was an opportunity, through which  the Minister reiterated investment opportunities in our country, which are characterized by the diversity of its resources, in addition to the important incentives granted to investors.

His Excellency the Minister called on the representatives of the Group to develop their activities in our country, and expressed his aspiration that the Group will contribute to attracting investors to work in Mauritania.

ODDO is one of Europe’s leading private institutions, supporting developing countries through a variety of banking and investment services, including lending and financial services for SMEs, and developing financing programs for social and environmental projects.

The Group also promotes sustainable development by supporting projects that contribute to improving the quality of life in developing communities.

The talks were attended by the Director General of Finance and Economic Cooperation at the Ministry, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Nani.
