Minister of Economy and Finance holds Talks with German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Sid’ Ahmed Ould Bouh, held a meeting on Monday in Berlin (Germany) with German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Svena Schulze.

The meeting was devoted to the distinguished economic partnership relations between our country and the Federal Republic of Germany, especially with regard to the portfolio of cooperation projects, which include projects related to the fishing sector and vocational training.

During the meeting, the German minister affirmed Germany’s readiness to accompany our country in its development efforts, including support for the consultative group for the round table to be organized by Mauritania during the first quarter of next year, which aims to mobilize funds to support the development efforts made by the Mauritanian government.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Boubacar Kan, Ambassador of our country to Germany, and Mr. Mohamed Salem Al-Nani, Director General of Finance and Economic Cooperation at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
