President of Republic, AU Chairman, Delivers Speech at ‘Africa Day’ Forum

On 3 October, on the sidelines of the La Francophonie Summit in Paris, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union (AU), participated in the ‘Africa Day’ forum organized this year at the Emile Boutmy Amphitheater of the Ecole des Sciences Politiques de Paris, under the theme: “United for Africa, Let’s Inspire Excellence”.

The President of the Republic was received at the entrance of SciencesPo by Mr. Louis Vassy, ​​the Director of the Institute of Political Studies of SciencesPo, Ms. Arancha Gonzalez, the Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs, and Ms. Nachouat Maghouar, the Director General of the French-African Foundation of Sciences Po.

Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani gave a lecture at the Emile Boutmy Amphitheater before the students of the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris under the title: “Maintaining a country at peace in a region in conflict”, emphasizing the importance of addressing these students, future decision-makers, and Mauritania’s experience in the fight against extremism and terrorism.
