The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Ms. Messaouda Mint Baham Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, left Nouakchott last night for the United Arab Emirates to participate in the second high-level ministerial session of the International Green Economy Organization, which will be held in Dubai next Wednesday and Thursday.
Under the theme “Strengthening the Global Effort to Unlock Opportunity and Develop Progress”, the session brings together decision-makers and experts committed to the global economy’s transformation towards sustainability.
Mauritania’s participation in this meeting reflects its continued commitment to promoting the green economy and international cooperation for sustainable development.
