Minister of Livestock Meets With CILSS Executive Secretary

On 26 September, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Livestock, Mr. Mokhtar Gaguih, Acting Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, received Mr. Abdoulaye Mohamadou, the Executive Secretary of the Permanent Interstate Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS), who is leading a mission of the organization in our country, as part of the preparations for the High-Level Forum on Pastoralism and Pastures (Nouakchott+10), to be held from 6 to 8 November 2024 in Mauritania.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the progress of projects implemented within the framework of their cooperation in the agricultural development field.
