President of the Republic Chairman of the African Union meets the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Chairman of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, met on Monday in New York with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
This meeting dealt with the brotherly bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to develop them and push them towards achieving the desired goals, especially with the approach of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries. As well as working to strengthen and diversify relations of brotherhood and cooperation and consolidate common positions at the bilateral, Arab and international levels.
His Excellency expressed to the Crown Prince of Kuwait, on behalf of the State and the Mauritanian people, his appreciation for the support and support provided by Kuwait to our country, which covered many fields, through the Kuwait Fund for Development, and other Arab and international financial institutions, stressing that the Mauritanian people will not forget to the Kuwaiti people and government the historic settlement of the debt file accumulated by our country.
The President added that Mauritania, which has all the potential to become a major producer of green hydrogen, hopes to benefit from the Kuwaiti experience in the field of renewable energies, and looks forward to increasing Kuwaiti investments in Mauritania, and strengthening cooperation to develop infrastructure projects and transfer technology in the field of energy.
