Foreign Minister Receives Iranian Ambassador

On 20 September, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received HE Mr. Jawad Abou Ali Akbar, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Mauritania.

The meeting focused on the cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and the means to strengthen and develop them further, in addition to issues of common interest.
