President of Republic Visits China’s NORINCO

On 5 September, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union, visited the headquarters of the North China Industry Corporation (NORINCO), a major arms manufacturer founded 40 years ago. The President of the Republic visited the company’s headquarters, where he was informed about its operations, listening to presentations on its various areas of intervention, its latest innovations, its activity outside China, the development of international and local markets, and the use of international and local resources.

Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was accompanied by Messrs.:

– Nani Ould Chrougha, the Minister in charge of the President of the Republic’s Cabinet,

– Sid Ahmed Ould Bouh, the Minister of Economy and Finance,

– Ahmed Ould Bahini, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic, and

– Ahmedou Ould Mohamed Erradhi, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic.
