Minister of Economy and Finance discusses with Vice President of China Cooperation Agency

The Minister of Economy and Finance Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh held talks with the Vice President of the Chinese International Development Co-operation Agency (CIDA) on Wednesday.

During the session, the two sides discussed the issue of the funding and grant provided to our country by China, which aims to support development, and reiterated opportunities to increase and diversify it in order to serve the interests of both parties.

During the meeting, they also discussed ways to enhance this cooperation, especially in the field of Chinese infrastructure, including the sewage project in Nouakchott and the expansion of the Friendship Hospital.

For reference, the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDA) is an agency specialised in supporting development and accompanies many projects in our country, such as the Friendship Bridge, and supports and assists in obtaining project financing from Agzim Bank.
