Prime Minister Begins Presentation of Government Policy Before Parliament

The plenary session of the National Assembly, chaired by MP Mohamed Bemba Meguett, the Speaker of the Assembly, has just begun.

This session is devoted to the presentation by Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay of his program and the government’s undertaking of responsibility for this program.

The Prime Minister’s report includes the broad outlines of the government’s general policy and the optimal means to implement it in line with the electoral program of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic.

MPs will have the opportunity to discuss this program during the plenary session scheduled for 7 September. Then, the Prime Minister will answer the questions and concerns raised in their interventions.
