President of Republic Visits Several Leading Chinese Companies

On 4 September, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union, visited several leading companies in the Chinese capital, Beijing.

The visit involved Polytechnologies Incorporated, a giant conglomerate engaged in international trade, focusing on research and development of technical products and related technological services, development and investment in engineering and infrastructure, and trade and investment in civil products.

The President also visited the China Aerospace Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC).

The visit of the Chinese companies also included Huawei, the world’s leading provider of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices.

During this visit, the President of the Republic visited the headquarters of these companies, familiarized himself with their workflow, and listened to presentations on their different areas of intervention, their latest innovations, and their activity outside China, as well as on the opportunities to develop their partnerships with our country in the future.

Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was accompanied on this visit by Messrs.:

– Nani Ould Chrougha, the Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic. – Mohamed Abdallahi Boukhari Fellali, the Ambassador of Mauritania in Beijing.

– Ahmedou Ould Mohamed El Radhi, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic.
