Foreign Affairs Minister Decorates OHCHR Representative

On 21 August, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Marzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, decorated, on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Laurent Meillan, the representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), with the medal of Officer of the National Order of Merit on the occasion of the end of his mission in Mauritania.

Previously, the Minister held talks with the UN diplomat on the cooperation relations between Mauritania and this world organization, the means to strengthen and develop them, and issues of common interest.
