Minister of Justice: President of Republic Confirms Complete Confidence in Government

The Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdullah Ould Boya confirmed the confidence of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Cheikh Ould El Ghazouani, in the government.

In a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, the minister said that the allegations that the president of the Republic criticized the government performances are baseless rumors.

He added that the prime minister confirmed the president of the Republic’s complete confidence in the government, noting that His Excellency withdrew from yesterday’s cabinet meeting after the end of its agenda.
