President of Republic instructs Prime Minister to propose the Composition of the new Government

HE President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani received on Monday, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, HE the Prime Minister-designate, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Diay, and presented him with the letter of appointment
After the meeting, the Prime Minister made the following statement:
“As you know, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani has honored me by proposing the composition of the new government.
His Excellency the President of the Republic obliged me to propose a government team capable of implementing the program on the basis of which the Mauritanian people elected him in the elections of June 29, 2024, a homogeneous and homogeneous government team with expertise, experience and competence
I take this opportunity to congratulate His Excellency Prime Minister Mohamed Bilal and his government for their great efforts and the significant results they have achieved in the service of the country.
Finally, I emphasize that I appreciate the size of the responsibility, the sensitivity of the circumstance, and the size of the challenge, and we will spare no effort to be in line with His Excellency’s expectations.
