Nigerien Prime Minister Leaves Nouakchott

On 1 August, Nigerian Prime Minister Ali Lamine Zeine Mahaman left Nouakchott after representing General Abderrahmane Tchiani, the President of the National Council for the Safeguard of the Homeland in Niger, at the swearing-in ceremony of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, held at the El Mourabitoune Conference Center.

The Nigerien Prime Minister was greeted upon his departure from Nouakchott International Airport by Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, surrounded by several members of the government, his director of cabinet, the Wali of Nouakchott West, the President of the Nouakchott region, and the two countries’ ambassadors.
