Chadian President Arrives in Nouakchott for President-Elect’s Swearing-In Ceremony

On 31 July, His Excellency Mr. Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, the President of the Republic of Chad, arrived in Nouakchott to attend the swearing-in ceremony of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, President-elect, which will be held on 1 August 2024.

The Prime Minister, Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, led the delegation welcoming the Gambian guest, including several members of the government, the Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister, the Wali of Nouakchott-West, and the President of the Regional Council of the capital.
