President-Elect Receives Message of Congratulations From Slovenian President

On 23 July, HE Mr Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, President-elect, received a message of congratulations from Her Excellency Nataša Pirc Musar, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, following his re-election, in the first round, on 29 June 2024, to the presidency of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The message reads as follows:

“Your Excellency,

On the occasion of your re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, allow me to extend to you my sincere congratulations on behalf of the Slovenian citizens and my own behalf and wish you great success in the exercise of your heavy functions to ensure the stability, prosperity, and progress of your country and its citizens.

I sincerely wish to further develop friendly relations between Slovenia and Mauritania in a spirit of mutual understanding and respect.
