President-Elect Receives Congratulatory Message From Korean President

On 15 July,  His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, President-elect, received a message of congratulations from His Excellency Yun Sook Yeol, the President of the Republic of Korea, on the occasion of his re-election to the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for a new term.

The message reads as follows:

“Your Excellency,

On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Korea, I extend my sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of your re-election, wishing Mauritania to continue to prosper under your wise leadership.

I would like to express, once again, my deep gratitude for the opportunity given to me to co-chair with you the Korea-Africa Summit last June. I look forward to the development of our bilateral relations, and we will work together to implement the issues we discussed during the meeting and lunch we had.

While congratulating you on your re-election, please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my best wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity for the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Yoon Suk Yeol,
