Candidate Hamadi Sidi El Mokhtar recognizes Election Results and Calls on the President-elect to Strengthen Islamic Identity and Launch a Comprehensive National Dialogue

Candidate Hamadi Sidi El Mokhtar Mohamed Abdi acknowledged the results of the presidential elections announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday afternoon.
He said at a press conference on Tuesday evening that the results compiled at the level of the electoral operations management of his campaign largely coincide with the results issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
He called on the president-elect to work to strengthen the Islamic identity enshrined in the constitution as the safety valve of this society, ensure its unity and cohesion, speed up the resolution of major problems that threaten national unity, seriously combat corruption in all its forms and manifestations, and work to root democracy and address the major imbalances that the electoral system suffers from, by launching a comprehensive national dialogue.
He also called on all political and civil forces and all citizens to give priority to the great national interest of the country and to preserve its stability and unity.
He paid tribute to the citizens who died in the Kaedi demonstrations, demanding a transparent investigation into the circumstances of the death.
