President receives congratulations from Egypt’s president on his re-election

HE President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani received on Monday a cable of congratulations from President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The cable reads: “I congratulate my brother President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani on the occasion of his re-election as President of Mauritania, and I pray to God Almighty to grant him success in serving his homeland and his Arab and African surroundings, in light of his presidency of the African Union in its current session, and I look forward to strengthening cooperation between our two countries in all fields to achieve development and prosperity for our two brotherly peoples.”
