President of Republic Receives Telephone Call From Emirati Counterpart

On 1 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received a telephone call from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates.

His Highness congratulated the President of the Republic for the renewed confidence of the Mauritanian people by re-electing him as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

He expressed the determination of the United Arab Emirates to continue to support its brotherly country, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan for his call and his congratulations, emphasizing his desire to strengthen relations of cooperation and fraternity between the two brotherly countries.
