2024 Presidential Elections: Candidate Mohamed Lemine El Mourteji El Wavi Meets Rosso Markets Sellers

On 20 June, Mohamed Lemine Mourtaji El Wavi, the candidate for the presidential election of 29 June 2024, held, at the market of the town of Rosso, capital of Trarza, mobilization talks with sellers and visitors to this market, asking them to vote for him to contribute to changing their living conditions and that of the country for the better.

The candidate called on citizens to trust him in the next elections, adding that he preferred to organize direct meetings with citizens to know their reality and listen to them on the problems they face daily rather than participating in carnivals.

Ould El Wavi pledged, if he wins, to transform the country for the better, asking the Mauritanian people to give the youth a chance, affirming that “the situation of the country will not be worse than it has been since its creation”.

He criticized the state of the market and the accumulation of garbage in the streets, emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to change reality through the ballot box.

The candidate stopped in the town of Boghe, where he met citizens and informed them of the broad outlines of his electoral program, calling on them to vote for him in large numbers on election day.
