Minister of Justice Receives US Ambassador

On 13 June, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ben Boya, received HE Ms. Cynthia Kiersch, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Mauritania.

At the start of the meeting, the ambassador expressed her attachment to Mauritania which she loved and which she is preparing to leave at the end of her term, thanking the minister for the good treatment she received from all officials of the department during her presence in the country.

Ms. Kiersch congratulated the minister for the steps taken by justice in the fight against slavery and human trafficking.

For his part, Mr. Ould Boya thanked the ambassador for the role she played in promoting relations between our country and the USA, congratulating her and her team and wishing her every success in her future missions.
