The minister delivered a speech in which he highlighted the importance of the meeting, which is being held under the theme: “Strengthening multilateralism for equitable global development and security”, which is of great importance in light of the global challenges facing all countries and the need to strengthen international cooperation and achieve equitable and sustainable development.

In this regard, he added that cooperation with BRICS countries stems from our country’s commitment to the balance of the international system, the promotion of justice and development, and the recognition of the growing strength of this economic bloc, which is strengthening day by day with the accession of new countries on the international scene.

The minister stressed that this bloc is called upon to contribute to the search for solutions to the tragedy of the Palestinian people and provide the necessary conditions to resolve this issue, ensuring that they obtain their independent state on the 4 June 1967 borders with East al-Quds as its capital, by relevant resolutions of international legality.
