President of Republic Leaves for South Korea

His Excellency the President of the Republic, currently serving as the President of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, departed from Nouakchott on Sunday for Seoul, the capital of the Republic of South Korea, to participate in the Korea-Africa Summit scheduled for June 4 and 5.

His Excellency the President of the Republic is accompanied by the following delegation:

– Dr. Mariem Mint El Dah, First Lady.

– Mr. Moctar Ould Djay, Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic;

– Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad;

– Mr. Sidiya El Hadj, Ambassador of Mauritania in Seoul ;

– Mr. Ahmed Ould Bahini, Officers in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency ;

– Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, Advisor to the President of the Republic ;

– Mr. El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
