Conclusion of the International Handicraft Exhibition in Paris With Distinguished Mauritanian Participation

The activities of the International Handicraft Exhibition concluded on Sunday in the French capital, Paris, after a successful participation and qualitative presence of Mauritanian handicrafts, which emerged among their counterparts from the countries of the world, thus continuing their evolutionary approach in order to show the ingenuity of traditional craftsmen and the keenness of the handicraft sector to provide more successes in all international and national exhibitions.
The Mauritanian pavilion at this exhibition remained a destination for all visitors as a result of the quality of the exhibits presented by Mauritanian artisans under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts and Tourism, which encouraged the continuation of craftsmanship and creativity in order to develop the handicraft profession and the gains it achieved under the leadership of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh EL Ghazouani, who gave it special attention in his government’s program.
Mauritanian handicraft exhibits have shown much maturity, efficiency, creativity and craftsmanship thanks to the supervision of the handicraft management of the guiding sector.
