The Minister of Petroleum, Mines and Energy, Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, arrived in Algeria this morning, heading a delegation from the energy sector, to participate in the ministerial sessions of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum and to prepare for the summit of heads of state, expected next Saturday.

Expert meetings have continued since this morning under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohammed Al-Hamel, Secretary-General of the Forum, and in the presence of full-member gas exporting countries (Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, the United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela). , in addition to the observer members (Mauritania, Angola, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Malaysia, Mozambique, and Peru).

Our country participates in the regular meetings of this important forum for the third time as an observer member.
