Commissioner for Human Rights Travels to Geneva

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action and Relations with Civil Society, Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, left Nouakchott last night for Geneva to participate in the high-level sessions of the 55th session of the Human Rights Council.

The Commissioner is accompanied on this trip by a delegation that includes Haroun Traoré, in charge of the Presidency of the Republic, Fatima Bent Njeyan, Advisor at the Prime Ministry, and Sid Mohamed Ould Limam, Director of Human Rights at the Office.
