Chinese Ambassy In Nouakchott Hosts a Reception to Mark 70th Anniversary of China’s International Cooperation

The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mauritania, Li Bai jun, hosted a reception Thursday evening in Nouakchott on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of China’s international cooperation in human resources development and Mauritanian trainees in China.
In a speech on behalf of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Advisor in charge of the Development of Social Sectors and National Coordinator of the Sessions, Mr. Boune Ould Ely Bouha, praised the great development witnessed by the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries under the wise leadership of the leaders of the two friendly countries, His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and His Excellency Mr. Xi Jinpin, President of the People’s Republic of China.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador said that his country and Mauritania have a deep traditional friendship, noting that recent years have witnessed a great development in this relationship, represented in strengthening political mutual trust, deepening cooperation and expanding cultural exchanges.
For his part, Mokhtar Ould Khlifa, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly, said that this ceremony marks the 59th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mauritania and China, and it is an opportunity to express our sincere thanks to the Republic of China for the development support it has been providing to Mauritania.
