Mauritania Condemns Terrorist Attack that killed UAE Armed Forces in Somalia

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has condemned the terrorist attack that killed members of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces while performing training missions under an agreement with the Republic of Somalia.

This came in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, a copy of which was received by the Mauritanian News Agency, which reads as follows:

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad has received the news of the cowardly terrorist attack that killed members of the armed forces of the sisterly Arab Emirates while performing training missions, within the framework of an agreement with the Federal Republic of Somalia.

On this occasion, the Ministry extends its deepest condolences to the government of the United Arab Emirates and through it to the brotherly Emirati people and the families of the victims, asking God Almighty to bless them with His mercy, and to inspire their families patience, and we belong to God and to Him we return.”
