Minister of Fisheries Receives German Delegation

On 6 February, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mokhtar El Housseini Lam, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, met with a German delegation led by Ms. Andre Mozier, responsible for the project to upgrade value chains and employment in the fisheries sector in Mauritania.

The meeting discussed the stages of the project, to be officially launched next March. The exchange between the two parties also touched on the expected repercussions of the project on the creation of added value for seafood products and the fight against unemployment.
