President of Republic Welcomes Saudi Crown Prince’s “Green Saudi Arabia” Initiative

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould cheikh El Ghazouani, Rotating president of the council of head of states and governments of the great green wall, welcomed the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, “Green Saudi Arabia ” and “Green Middle East”.

The President of the Republic congratulated the custody of the two Holly Mosques and His Royal Highness the crown prince and through them Saudi Arabia’s government and people on this historic initiative.

His Excellency expressed the desire of the council of head of states and governments of the group to link the closest ties of cooperation between the ” Green Saudi Arabia” initiative and the “Green Middle East” and the Agency of the Great Green Wall, which extends nearly 8,000 kilometers, across eleven countries, from Senegal to Djibouti.

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania praised this unprecedented initiative, not only due to its positive consequences on the Arab region, but it also encourages the world to assume its historical responsibility for climate change that threaten the future of mankind.
