Human Rights Commissioner Receives AU Humanitarian Mission

On 8 January, in Nouakchott, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, received Mr. Aso Mani Youssef, the Head of the African Union (AU) Humanitarian Mission currently on a working visit to Mauritania.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed the areas of cooperation between Mauritania and the AU in the field of humanitarian action and ways to strengthen it.
