Minister of Fisheries Receives Senegalese Counterpart

On 4 January, in Nouakchott, Mr. Moktar El Housseinou Lam, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, received his Senegalese counterpart, Mr. Papa Sagna Mbaye.

The objective of this visit is to hold discussions to put in place the necessary measures for the implementation of a protocol for the benefit of the communities of each country established in the other.

The meeting constitutes an opportunity to further strengthen the cooperation between Mauritania and Senegal in the field of fisheries and maritime economy to deepen and broaden it to live up to the aspirations of the two people and the orientations of the two leaders, Their Excellencies Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani and Mr. Macky Sall.
